During a recent trip to Greece, we decided to stop off on Milos Island to spend a couple nights prior to making our way to Santorini. We wanted to experience one of the smaller, less “touristy” islands. In addition, we love the beach and heard rave reviews of what Milos had to offer.
Aside from the natural beauty of Greece, our stay at Miland Suites was a highlight of our entire 10 days there! We loved the beautiful island and wish we would have spent more than 2 nights! We highly recommend traveling to the island of Milos. Staying at this property should be a priority for your trip!
The B&B Hotel is set on top of the hillside with a stunning view of the Aegean Sea. We had limited time to spend relaxing at the pool. However during our next trip, we will be sure to add extra time so we can get some R&R while taking in the gorgeous view!
There are only 8 guest rooms, therefore the family owners offer very personalized service. Each and every member of the family is incredible! They are very friendly and take pride in helping to create a memorable stay not only at the property but on the island as well! They were always available for restaurant suggestions, sightseeing recommendations and insider tips about the island. When we arrived, a beautiful welcome tray was waiting for us.
Unfortunately we had a lapse in judgement and did not capture the beautiful interior of the room. We stayed in Superior Suite 9. The room is on the second floor with a balcony view of the sea. The room was beautifully maintained! We really did not want to leave after 2 short nights.
The traditional breakfast is homemade and served in the main building. They have a garden on the property which provides fresh, organic vegetables that are used each morning. We truly felt like guests in their home and they attended to every need!
Prior to our arrival, the owner asked us for a copy of our itinerary while in Milos. Our inbound flight arrived late which caused us to have a tight schedule to check-in and then get picked up for our boat tour. Since they knew our schedule in advance, Miland Suites packed breakfast to-go bags which were given to us upon arrival (since they figured we did not have time to eat due to our very early flight). We were stunned at the thought in advance and consideration they took to ensure we enjoyed our stay with them on the island!
As we outlined here, Miland Suites puts up flags for each country their current guests represent. We thought it was another nice, personalized touch that we loved!
